ASDT SENDES Stationary - Anti-drone System

With the steadily growing number of unmanned aerial vehicles in the airspace, the need arose not only to systematize aviation regulations to regulate drone traffic but also to implement effective drone defense systems. Anti-drone solutions enable the protection of critical infrastructure elements, airports, prisons, power plants, refineries, government buildings, important public facilities, or mass gatherings from flight operations with unmanned aerial vehicles in their immediate vicinity.

ASDT SENDES is one of the leading C-UAS drone defense systems (Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems). The solution developed by the Spanish company ASDT Systems Europe S.L. is based on the proprietary SENDES technology, which relies on the real-time decoding of radio frequencies on which drones from the most popular brands such as DJI, Parrot, Yuneec, Wi-Fi, and RemoteID operate. The system consists of four modules: the detection system (SENDES DAU), neutralization (SENDES SJ), user interface (SENDES Gate), and an AI-supported ecosystem (SENDES Core).

Thanks to directional antennas, the DAU module allows the detection, identification, and tracking of drones at a distance of up to 10 km in any direction. The software informs the user, among other things, about the drone brand, serial number, flight altitude and speed, as well as the start position and pilot location.

The optional SJ module enables the neutralization of the drone through selective jamming of transmission and GPS signals, which triggers the initiation of the "Return-to-Home" procedure or an emergency landing of the drone.

The SENDES DAU and SJ modules require only access to power and the Internet (via RJ-45 connector or LTE module) for operation. Free-standing mounting, ceiling mounting, or installation on a tower is possible. SENDES is protected against weather conditions (IP certified) and can operate 365 days a year.

Operation is browser-based from any device – computer, tablet, or smartphone. The software offers intuitive handling with FoF filtering (Friend or Foe) as well as the generation of reports in PDF, KML, and XLSX formats. It also allows creating zones and receiving automatic notifications upon their violation, with the option for automatic or manual neutralization.

The SENDES system has already been successfully implemented in industrial facilities, government institutions, military sites, at borders, and in prisons, among others. It was also tested at Chopin Airport in Warsaw, where its range covered the strict city center. The system complies with the European Directive 2013/25/EU as well as STANAG 2345 Edition 4.
