1) OPEN A3 – Legacy Devices without CE Marking
If your drone weighs >250 g and has no C-Class (C0/C1/C2), it may only be operated in Category A3 far away from people. More on C-Classes & legacy devices: DJI – Overview · Our article "What about my old drone?".

2) SPEC – EU Standard Scenarios STS-01/STS-02
The Standard Scenarios are active in the Specific Category: STS-01 (VLOS) and STS-02 (BVLOS). They regulate operations outside the OPEN Category. In-depth information: How to fly legally in STS-01/STS-02 · STS – FAQ.
3) STS Training – Theory & Practical
Interested in STS? Here are our offers: Theoretical Training for STS · Practical Training for STS.
4) National Scenarios – STS.FARM
National Standard Scenarios were possible before EU harmonization. In Germany, there was STS.FARM (e.g., spraying operations). Since 01.01., no new commitments can be issued. Only those who submitted the application before 31.12.2023 may use STS.FARM until the end of 2025.
Conclusion
Legacy device without C-Class → OPEN A3 far away from people. STS-01/STS-02 are available for more demanding missions. STS.FARM can only be used with a timely old application. We support entry/transition with STS training and practical sessions.
