Published - EGRED 2 – Recommendations for Common Regulations for the Use of Drones in Civil Protection

The use of drones in hazardous situations is associated with considerable risks, especially in densely populated areas. As the coordinating body, the BBK (Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance), in close consultation with experts from fire services, aid organizations, the federal states, and aviation authorities, first developed and published "Recommendations for Common Regulations for the Use of Drones in Civil Protection" – or EGRED for short – in 2019.
