1 ABOUT THE TRAINING

In this 2.5-day course, learn the most important details about DJI Terra and how to use it. DJI Terra covers two main components: drone technology & flight planning / DJI Terra and photogrammetric data processing.

Drone technology and flight planning:

We introduce the UTC program, and you will learn everything about your drone hardware and applicable payloads.

Create efficient flight routes with predefined actions at each waypoint. Key functions such as speed, flight altitude, and gimbal orientation can be set before the flight. For more complex missions and flights in confined environments that require a very high level of detail, a 3D flight visualization is now available to plan and simulate flights within existing 3D models.

Photogrammetric processing:

With DJI Terra you can generate 2D orthophotos as well as high-resolution point clouds and 3D models. You can also process multispectral data (P4MS, M3MS) and LiDAR raw data (L1). It is a complete solution that offers industrial users unprecedented efficiency, with comprehensive reconstruction models for sectors such as mapping, power transmission, emergency services, construction, transportation, and agriculture.

2 DJI TERRA TRAININGS

We offer individual or group training, tailored to your needs, for DJI Terra at your site or at our locations in Aachen, Bad Schönborn (Heidelberg), or Hanover. The course is aimed at beginners and advanced users. We teach you the photogrammetry workflow from data capture through processing to the finished product. Of course, you can also complete the training online.

In addition to DJI Terra, we introduce open-source software in our courses for processing point clouds, polygon meshes, textures, and orthophotos and show you how to further refine your photogrammetry products.

Participation requires your own laptop/workstation. (System requirements: Windows 10/11, min. 16 GB RAM, min. 200 GB storage, NVIDIA graphics card with at least 4 GB VRAM).

Exam:

The exam lasts 60 minutes and consists of 50 questions. It takes place via the DJI platform. After achieving 80% correct answers, the participant will receive a certificate in the form of a plastic card directly from DJI by post within a few weeks.
