1 DETAILS ABOUT THE TRAINING

During this workshop, organized by 3ds-scan.de and Pro Fly Center, you will learn how to use drones for photogrammetric surveying.

Metashape Pro is a professional, mature software for photogrammetric 3D surveying of Russian origin, which currently still has no adequate replacement. Many companies still have valid licences, which can continue to be used at no cost.

The two-day course includes theoretical, practical, and hands-on instruction on using drones for photogrammetric 3D surveying. The course includes:

Basics of photogrammetry & capture techniques, manual & automated, for acquiring suitable photo data
Practical demonstration flight with mission planning app (DJI GS RTK)
Photogrammetric processing with Agisoft Metashape Pro
Creation of orthophotos, 3D point clouds, and digital surface and terrain models
Further processing of the generated point clouds with (CloudCompare)

Depending on your needs, the course can be tailored to the equipment used or your application goals.

Working with small file examples and capture flights
Trip to the demonstration site for flight and data capture
Flight preparations: what to consider (legality & flight approvals)
