Review: BOS Open Day on July 12, 2025 – Pro Fly Center, Bad Schönborn
Around 80 participants followed our invitation and experienced an intensive day full of practical demos, specialist presentations, and personal exchange. The focus was on professional drone use in the BOS sector – from suitable technology to integration into everyday operations and concrete application scenarios in the field.

In this review, you will read about:

• Which topics & practical content shaped the day.
• Which live demos & systems were shown (incl. DJI Dock, Matrice 400).
• Who presented – with thanks to our partners & guests.
• How things will proceed: Handout, training & next steps.

Key Topics & Content

The day offered a dense combination of theory and practice: From technology and payload selection to tactics & integration into BOS procedures to use cases such as situational awareness, search for people, documentation, and live situation transmission. Hands-on flights, software workflows, safety and emergency procedures, as well as checklists provided tangible know-how for daily operations.

Live Demos & Technology Highlights

A special highlight were the demonstrations of current DJI technologies, including the DJI Matrice 400 as well as the live presentation of the DJI Dock system in the BOS context. This was complemented by a technology showcase, software solutions, and numerous practical demos that showed how systems can be operated safely, legally compliant, and efficiently.
