DETAILS OF THE PRODUCT:

The documents prepared by us enable you to obtain approval from the LBA for VLOS flights (within visual line of sight) over an area that you fully control and where no uninvolved persons are present (so-called "controlled ground area"). The document was created so that it can be sent to the LBA almost immediately to obtain an individual operating permit for the entire federal territory! You decide where you want to fly!

The Operations Manual (OM) is the fundamental document for any drone operator wishing to conduct flights based on an individual operating permit from the LBA. The OM consists of various sections, each containing information important for the smooth planning and execution of drone operations. It is one of the documents reviewed by the LBA as part of the application process. A solid preparation testifies to the reliability of the operator and a professional approach to advanced drone flights for which the open category or standard scenarios (STS) are insufficient.

If the open category and the STS scenarios do not meet the requirements of your planned flights, you must apply to the LBA for an individual permit. This permit allows you to conduct flights according to your own needs, as required to achieve your goal. Using the Operations Manual and the SORA risk assessment, you describe the planned flight, determine its risk level, and demonstrate that you can limit and effectively manage it. The LBA evaluates your operation based on the submitted documents and – if everything goes successfully – grants an individual operating permit so that you can implement your project.

Appropriate documents such as the Operations Manual (OM), the SORA analysis, and the application must be prepared. If you buy our package, we prepare all documents for you. In addition, we meet beforehand for an individual appointment where we check everything carefully. Should a pre-application meeting with the LBA be required, we will support you. In most cases, however, a pre-application meeting with the LBA is not necessary. OM, SORA, and the application for the permit must be sent to the LBA. The waiting time for the decision is between 4 and 16 weeks.
