What is the difference between DJI Dock 3 and DJI Dock 4?
The biggest change is automated battery swapping: instead of charging the drone, DJI Dock 4 is ready to fly again after 45 seconds. On top of that you get 59 instead of 54 minutes of flight time, an operating range down to −40 °C, Link Fusion (O4 + 4G) and 17 AI detection types.
Which drone does DJI Dock 4 use?
DJI Dock 4 works with the DJI Matrice 5TD, featuring a 50 MP camera system, thermal camera and IP55 protection.
Do I need an authorisation to operate the dock?
Automated flights beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) generally require an operational authorisation in the specific category. We support you with training, the operations manual and SORA all the way to your authorisation.
