TRAINING DETAILS:

With our 2-day BOS drone workshop for fire brigades, disaster relief and police, you can fully unlock the potential of your drone unit. Learn how to deploy drones safely and efficiently in the most common operational scenarios. Your team receives intensive onboarding to the drone’s hardware and software. Our experienced instructor explains field-tested operational concepts. This specialist training for authorities and organizations with security tasks includes equipment technology, legal frameworks and training content in accordance with the “Common Rules for the Use of Drones in Civil Protection – EGRED2”, and—most importantly—concrete, actionable recommendations for operations. Learn procedures for search and rescue, situation display, reconnaissance, fire missions, water rescue and other scenarios, and benefit from the many years of experience of our partners. We also cover the necessary checklists and provide them digitally after the training.

Participation requires prior knowledge in this field. Training often covers topics that demand background knowledge of operational organization and structures. For this reason, this course is available only to members of authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS). In principle, BOS training is open to all authorities and organizations. To build a tactical drone unit, we recommend booking this course with at least three members of your organization.

Upon completion, participants receive a BOS certificate in accordance with BBK requirements.

After completing the course, graduates understand the structure of unmanned aircraft, with a particular focus on Enterprise models and the drone used by the unit (e.g., DJI Matrice 300, Mavic 3T, Matrice 30T, Matrice 350 RTK). They know the required equipment (thermal cameras, zoom cameras, lighting sensors, batteries, etc.), key regulations and flight zones, and how to conduct a risk analysis to plan and conduct safe flights.

The practical training provides the necessary confidence for BOS flights under varying conditions. Participants are optimally prepared for BOS operations, can react correctly in emergencies, and gain the skills to conduct typical tasks such as reconnaissance flights and approaching objects/subjects with a drone. They can quickly adapt to new scenarios, know their drone in detail, and understand how to deploy add-ons such as thermal cameras and lasers.
